We offer a complimentary service to look through your old, perhaps out of date employment agreements. There have been many changes to employment law in the past few months and the team at People Passion are all up to scratch with these changes.
If you are keen to take up this offer it’s as easy as dropping us an email. A new or updated employment agreement will save you a lot more money than the fines you could potentially face!
HOT TIP: In regards to the 90 Day Trial Period, it is vital the employment agreement is signed by both parties prior to commencing employment; otherwise the Trial Period will be considered void.
People Passion has been very busy on the Recruitment front. Our job board is full with a variety of roles and we have had some great candidates come through recently (link to job site). Dependant on the role, at times you wish you had two roles the same as you have two fabulous candidates and only one vacancy and then at other times it is a struggle to find that ideal candidate!
The team at People Passion are very resourceful and can seek out candidates from our database, creative advertising and we are known for our head-hunting expertise.
Over the next few years, the government will be decreasing their contribution to KiwiSaver, while increasing private contributions, in order to decrease the government deficit. The tax free status of Employer contributions will be removed to make the scheme fairer (at the moment, 50% of this benefit goes to 15% of income earners).
The 90 Day Trial Period is a voluntary offer of employment which must be agreed in writing and negotiated in good faith as part of the employment agreement. The Trial Period can be used by any sized company, provided the employee has not previously been employed by the employer.
If an employee is dismissed within the 90 calendar days, they cannot raise a personal grievance, unless they feel they have been discriminated, harassed or unjustifiably dismissed by the employer.
