Contractor agreements made easy
While we concentrate on making sure Employee's have agreements, we often overlook our Contractors. Using written agreement avoids misunderstandings and disputes that could arise by providing a clear written outline of the services to be performed, when they are to be performed and how much you will be paying. A written Contractor agreement can also help establish that the person is not an Employee. Although the agreement by itself doesn't definitely prove this, it will help show that both parties have intended to create a hiring firm-contractor relationship, not an employee-employer relationship.
