We are on the hunt for an amazing Head Teacher who is caring, passionate and bubbly and can help us in our mission to connect children to the community, environment and wider world through teaching, development and care.  Based in Pukekohe, The Playhouse Pre-School is an innovative childcare facility that provides high quality education and support for children aged 3 months to 6 years.  

This full time, permanent position will allow you to lead a great team who love what they do. This role offers plenty of challenges and you will need to have the confidence and ability to work with a wide variety of families. This is a great opportunity to advance your ECE career and join a company that offers a rewarding, friendly and energetic working environment. 

Our ideal candidate would need to be a qualified NZ Registered ECE Teacher, have great leadership skills, and be able to tick off the following:

  • Have a great sense of humour

  • Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and gets on with the job at hand

  • Have exceptional communication skills

  • Be honest and trustworthy and a genuine team player

  • Be a multi tasker and able to use your initiative

  • Be enthusiastic and inspiring with a passion to lead and create a stimulating environment for children to learn and grow in

  • Supportive and encouraging leader

  • Have experience using Infocare and Educa is an advantage, but not essential.
