North Island Operations Manager

Based in Albany, we are looking for a switched on and dynamic North Island Operations Manager to look after and grow our business at Hydroflow Distributors Ltd.

We are a global player operating in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific, with key distribution hubs in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Melbourne.  Hydroflow represents a large portfolio of leading global brands and work alongside our customers to provide quality product and services as well as technical design solutions. We pride ourselves on our extensive industry experience and knowledge and are looking for someone who can take responsibility for all of our operational activities, while ensuring customer service standards are held.

This is a busy yet rewarding role where you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and South Island Operations Manager to develop a fully integrated Supply Chain for New Zealand.

To be successful in this role you will need working knowledge of the industry, as well as the ambition to continuously improve processes and product integrity. You will also have:

  • Strong communications skills with the ability to build effective relationships

  • Previous experience operating Warehouse Management Systems

  • Experience with inventory management and understand ways to improve stock control and order processing

  • To be a proactive with great time management

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Be adaptable and a natural leader with the ability to lead your team through change

  • Be hands on energetic in nature and able to get stuck in on all aspects of the role – you must be a team player

  • The flexibility to travel out of town

  • An understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
