Position: Senior Sales Executive

Location: 646 Glenbrook Road, Auckland New Zealand. 

This role is based in the office 2-3 days and on the road 2-3 days.  Travel predominantly Auckland to BOP, with travel across NZ as required.

 Role Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Sales Executive. This role is ideal for someone with a background in manufacturing, industrial, electrical, restaurants, agriculture/farms, horticulture, or packhouse industries. As a solution-focused role, it requires innovative thinking and creativity to address customer needs effectively. With ambitious growth plans, we need a driven individual to take ownership of driving these initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly and effectively engage with new inbound leads.

  • Conduct customer site visits and measure-ups.

  • Assess building designs and recommend appropriate fan solutions to fit customer needs and facility constraints.

  • Generate accurate quotes for prospective customers.

  • Efficiently follow up on existing deals and pursue new prospects.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the CRM system.

  • Convert leads into sales, with a focus on high-value prospects.

  • Utilize workflow emailing within HubSpot for efficient communication.

  • Provide sales reporting and forecasting to the Sales Manager.

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve targets.

  • Collaborate with marketing and strategic planning teams as required.

  • Identify and assist in the development process of new products.

  • Travel across New Zealand as required, predominantly from Auckland to BOP.

Experience and Skills:

  • 7+ years of proven self-managed sales experience, preferably in relevant industries.

  • Technical understanding of products and the ability to assess building designs.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage quickly.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise sales opportunities.

  • Proven track record in sales hunting with high conversion rates.

  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve targets.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools, with a methodical approach.

  • Technical proficiency in AI, CAD, or CFD software is a bonus.

 Success in this role will involve hunting and generating sales across various industries in New Zealand while providing exceptional customer support from sales to successful installations. The role may evolve over time, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to market changes and business growth.
