Recruitment – Workshops
This quarter we were prepared for reduced recruitment activity due to the impact of rising mortgage rates and a down turn in business however here at People Passion that has not eventuated, companies are still hiring and candidates are still looking for new opportunities. This could be a case of many candidates holding off their search until the new year and we are also noticing a few of these replacements are people leaving Auckland for a new life in the regions.
Recruitment Workshops –
we are conducting 20-minute online recruitment workshops for hiring managers to get some key tips. This could include descriptive advert writing, unlawful questions during interviews, how to navigate awkward interviews, interview techniques, job offer negotiations, following recruitment best practice etc

Onsite Interviews –
Lately our clients have seen great value having us onsite to be a second opinion during interviews and wow did it really show, in two cases we observed a few red flags our client missed as they were their preferred candidate. People Passion asked different questions and kept them short and open, this opened the dialogue for more probing. This resulted in the second candidate switching to the successful candidate and a win/win all round.
