About Plumbcraft :

Our client has been in the plumbing, gas and drainage industry in Auckland since 1990. Family owned and operated with 36 staff, 30 of them are on the tools. Residential, commercial and FM work, plus a central heating arm doing boilers and hydronic systems.

They are busy and are after a Qualified Plumber who can handle both sides of their work:

About the role:

• Commercial maintenance - running your own van on a maintenance round. Buildings, body corps, FM clients. Fault finding, backflow, HWCs, the lot. You'll be dealing with building managers and tenants direct, so you need to be able to talk to people.

• New builds - residential and light commercial. Group homes through to architectural. Doing it once, doing it properly, and leaving a tidy site.

• Some weeks you'll be on maintenance, some weeks you'll be on a build. If that variety doesn't suit you, they are probably not your shop.

If you have a gas ticket, even better. Plumbcraft runs a central heating arm doing boilers, hydronic systems and gas-to-heat-pump conversions. Any practising gasfitter who wants to get into that side of it, we'll train you up - manufacturer training, the works. It's a good ticket to have and there's not many in Auckland who can do it properly.

What you need:

• A current NZ practising licence

• A full driver licence

• A good attitude

• Willingness to muck in. Some days it's a big job, some days it's a leaking tap for a good client.
