About the Role:

We're on the hunt for an energetic, people-focused Cellar Door Manager to take the reins of our distillery experience. This is a unique opportunity to step into a varied and rewarding role where you'll lead tastings, host events, manage all cellar door operations - from bookings to stock prep, to daily service and cellar door bottle sales. You'll be a confident host, a natural storyteller, and a hands-on leader who can seamlessly manage customer experience, operations, and team coordination. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role and includes regular evening and weekend work to support tastings, events, and operational needs.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading cellar door tastings, tours, and cocktail service with personality and professionalism

  • Coordinating and hosting private events, tastings, and corporate functions - both on and off premises and for special occasions within the region

  • Managing bookings, enquiries, and communication with visitors and clients

  • Overseeing the setup and reset of the space for daily operations and events

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and high-quality environment

  • Managing stock prep for tastings and events, and working with the team to ensure displays are well presented

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Cellar Door team to deliver on sales KPIs through exceptional service, meaningful customer experiences, and maximising every sales opportunity.

  • Providing input into marketing campaigns and promotional ideas

  • Monitoring cellar door budgets, stock levels, and sales performance

  • Reporting on key metrics and sharing insights with the wider team

  • Contribute as a key member of the leadership team-collaborating across the business to support a high-performing, connected workplace.

  • Outstanding customer service skills with a natural flair for storytelling

  • Exceptional leadership ability and drive with a collaborative, hands-on approach

  • Confident host with experience running tastings, tours, or hospitality events

  • Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards of presentation

  • Great organisational skills and confidence managing bookings and systems

  • Comfortable working evenings/weekends, when needed for events

  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Liquor License and Duty Manager Certificate

  • Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused, someone who takes ownership

  • A genuine passion for quality, local products, and creating exceptional experiences
