About the role

Passion Fresh are looking for a Packhouse Manager to lead the daily operations of our cucumber packhouse. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role where your focus is simple and critical: ensuring everything harvested today is packed and dispatched the same day.

You will lead the packhouse team, keeping operations running smoothly, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring equipment is operating reliably. Working closely with the Site Lead and Sales Manager, you will play a key role in aligning harvest volumes with packing and customer demand. This is a great step-up opportunity, particularly suited to someone from a seasonal crop environment looking for more consistency. This role sits within a fast-growing business and offers real opportunity to develop and take on more over time.

We are looking for someone who is practical, proactive, and a confident manager. You will bring strong operational awareness, a good mechanical mindset and the ability to keep both people and processes moving efficiently.

Most importantly, you will bring:

  • Experience in a packhouse, horticulture, production, manufacturing, or logistics environment

  • Proven experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced setting

  • Experience working with automated packing equipment or a practical, mechanical background

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage day to day demands

  • Strong and positive communication ability

  • Can work in a team environment and thrives on collaborative team spirit
