Part Time Admin & Accounts - East Tamaki

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Admin and Accounts superstar to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to balance work with other commitments while contributing to a thriving business in the Metal Fabrication Industry.

 

About the Role:

You will be supporting a fun and busy team with a mix of accounts, reception, and admin duties. You'll enjoy variety in your day-to-day tasks, a supportive work environment, and the chance to play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly. Day to day you will:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time when required

  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations

  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including sales support.

  • Perform reception duties including answering phones, handling enquiries, and warmly welcoming visitors

  • Jump into marketing and social media

 

This is a part time role 9am – 2pm, Monday to Friday.

 

About our ideal candidate:

If you are a people person who enjoys wearing multiple hats and being part of a down-to-earth, hands-on team, this could be the perfect role for you. You will bring:

  • Proven experience in accounts and payroll functions

  • Confidence using Xero and/or MYOB

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a good sense of humour!

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

  • Previous experience in admin, reception, social media and/or sales support
