About the role:
As Project Manager, you'll take full responsibility for managing projects end to end. You'll be the senior point of contact on site, leading teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring delivery against time, cost, quality, and safety targets.
You'll also play a key role in shaping the future of our projects by identifying new opportunities, supporting proposals, and fostering long-term client partnerships. Day to day, you will:
Lead and manage project teams across multiple locations
Develop and monitor detailed project plans
Manage budgets, pricing, and reporting to ensure positive outcomes
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements
Communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide clear progress updates
Build strong relationships to support growth and future projects
The ideal Project Manager will have:
A track record of leading and developing people while driving strong project outcomes
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation services
Electrical Registration would be an advantage
A solid understanding of project management practices, quality assurance standards (ISO 9002:2016, AS/NZS 4801), and excellent HSE practices
Financial and commercial acumen, including cost management, tendering, pricing, and reporting
Skills in planning, prioritising, time management, and resource allocation
Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project
Strength in communication and customer relationships
The ability to set goals, manage competing demands, and deliver projects in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to travel frequently - this role involves regular travel, primarily across the central North Island, and requires flexibility to be where the projects are happening, including Auckland and beyond as needed
