About the role

We're looking for a commercially minded and creatively driven Marketing and Sales Manager to lead the next phase of Juno Gin's growth. Based in New Plymouth, this role is perfect for someone who can think strategically, execute confidently, and genuinely connect with people. You'll lead our marketing and sales efforts across multiple channels-strengthening relationships with stockists and partners, growing our customer base, and championing the Juno story in everything you do. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role and includes regular evening and weekend work to support tastings, events, and operational needs.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Take the lead on day-to-day sales activity, building strong relationships with key customers, wholesale clients, and distribution partners to support ongoing growth.

  • Prepare and analyse sales reports, using insights to fine-tune strategy and drive smart decision-making across sales channels.

  • Plan, coordinate, and support the delivery of unforgettable events, from tastings to trade shows-ensuring every detail reflects the Juno experience.

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns that bring our story to life and support sales goals, while keeping activity aligned with budget

  • Keep our website fresh and functional, and manage e-commerce content to optimise the online customer journey

  • Lead our social media presence creating, scheduling, and engaging with content that connects and converts

  • Manage award entries, media kits, and marketing partnerships that help raise Juno's profile in Aotearoa and beyond

  • Championing our story and values, quality, sustainability, and Aotearoa flavour-in everything you do

Our ideal Sales and Marketing Manager:

  • 3+ years' experience in sales, marketing, or brand development-ideally in the Beverages or FMCG sectors

  • Proven track record in developing and executing campaigns that grow brand visibility, engagement, and sales

  • Strong digital marketing skills, including content creation, social media, email campaigns, and website management

  • Confident relationship-builder with experience managing stockists, distributors, and industry partners

  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of sales cycles, product positioning, and customer behaviour

  • Creative eye with attention to detail and a flair for visual storytelling and presentation

  • Highly organised, with excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills

  • Comfortable working independently and as a proactive, hands-on team player

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar (preferred)

  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, website platforms, and marketing analytics is a plus
