Experienced Carpet and Vinyl Installers - Henderson
Our client is an active and growing family-owned business, with an excellent reputation in the market. They're passionate about customer service and have a wealth of industry knowledge underpinning their continued success.
Their team is growing, and they are currently looking for experienced Carpet and Vinyl installers to join their team. Based in Henderson, this role will see you working in various locations around Auckland. You will need to have a great work ethic and enough experience to hit the ground running.
This opportunity would suit someone with the following experience and skills:
Ideally hold a flooring qualification
Installation of conventional carpet, garage carpet, carpet tiles along with the installation of vinyl sheet and vinyl planks
Prepare a variety of subfloors including working with floor grinders, levelling compounds and other floor preparation products to ensure suitability for floor coverings
Install flooring according to floor plans efficiently and accurately without call back
Ideally you have worked in construction industry and have the ability to read site plans, be able to work independently and have a fantastic attitude.

Must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role

You must hold at least a Restricted Driver's License, and it would be a bonus if you have a Site Safe Passport. You need to be able to work out of town, overnight stays, varied hours and some weekend work so flexibility is essential.
What's on Offer?
You will receive a salary of between $72,800 - $104,000.00 per annum dependent on your skills and experience and will be provided with a minimum of 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. You may occasionally be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week to meet deadlines. All approved overtime hours will be remunerated at a rate of $35.00–$50.00 per hour, commensurate with your skills and experience. There are 5 positions available.
