About The Counties Manukau Homecare Trust
We grew out of a community need for in home care for Franklin and Papakura residents aged 60 plus. ‘Counties Manukau Homecare Services’ opened its doors in 1990 with a Coordinator, an administrator, 25 support workers and a committee made up of urban, rural, cultural and family support groups.
In 2006 an independent trust was formed with responsibility for the governance of home care services in the Counties Manukau area.
Today we have over 120 support workers caring for nearly 1000 clients, supported by a service administration and co-ordination team.
