Quality Manager – OTC Medicines (Melbourne / Remote)

We are a leading business in the over-the-counter (OTC) medicines market, committed to delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality are upheld across all areas of our operation, from regulatory compliance to supplier quality and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and TGA regulations

  • Liaise with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to maintain product listings, prepare and submit documentation, and respond to regulatory inquiries

  • Oversee Pharmacovigilance (PV) activities, including monitoring, recording, and reporting on product safety and efficacy

  • Lead quality control processes for incoming materials and finished products, including setting standards and managing inspections

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through performance metrics and corrective actions

  • Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with raw material quality standards

  • Deliver training to staff on quality systems, standards, and best practices

  • Ensure robust documentation and accurate record keeping of all quality-related activities

About You:

  • 5–10 years’ experience in quality management, ideally in OTC, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries

  • In-depth knowledge of TGA regulations and quality assurance frameworks

  • Qualifications in Quality Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple quality initiatives with attention to detail and follow-through
