It all started with humble beginnings in a small Buckland shed in 2005 and through hard work and determination Kitchen Inspirations has developed into a thriving and well-respected Franklin based business.

Over 20 years on, we are now a team of 21 in spacious premises with an impressive modern showroom and an organised factory, we now have a rare opportunity for a new team member to join our award-winning team.

 

About the role:

Are you an experienced cabinet maker and take pride in your craftsmanship, enjoy working as part of a supportive team, and want to be part of creating high quality cabinetry, then we would love to hear from you. You will be working alongside a close-knit team, including designers and CNC programmers, creating stunning cabinetry for anything from classic kitchens to commercial interior projects and luxury homes.

 

Day to day you will be:

  • Manufacturing and assembling cabinetry to detailed plans and Kitchen Inspirations standards

  • Using hand tools and machinery safely and competently

  • Working efficiently to meet allocated job timeframes

  • Liaising closely with the Foreman and team to ensure jobs run smoothly and errors are minimised

  • Recording job time accurately and using company systems appropriately

  • Assisting with loading and unloading, checking inwards goods, factory cleaning and general workshop tasks

  • Maintaining a tidy, organised workspace and looking for ways to improve how we do things with Health and Safety as a priority.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified or experienced Cabinet Maker

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

  • Good understanding of cabinetry manufacturing processes

  • Health and safety conscious

  • A can-do attitude and positive work ethic

  • An all round person who fits in with our team

  • Proactive and organised

  • Willing to mentor apprentices and support junior team members

  • Full NZ Driver Licence

  • Hold a current Fork Hoist Licence (an advantage)

 

The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test prior to the commencement of employment.
