About Kitchen Inspirations:
It all started with humble beginnings in a small Buckland shed in 2005 and through hard work and determination Kitchen Inspirations has developed into a thriving and well-respected Franklin based business.
Over 20 years on, we are now a team of 21 in a spacious premises with an impressive modern showroom and an organised factory, we now have a rare opportunity for a new team member to join our award-winning team.
About the role:
If you love design, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of bringing dream kitchens to life, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who has a good foundation in kitchen design and is ready to take the next step in their career. Perhaps you have worked in a kitchen design department, or you have gained some hands-on experience in kitchen or cabinetry design. You do not need to be highly experienced, but some industry knowledge and a willingness to learn and grow with us would be ideal.
We have a busy pipeline of exciting projects and are looking for someone who can join our team as soon as possible.
Day to day you will be:
Meeting with customers to understand their cabinetry requirements and creating designs and quotes that suit their needs, style and budget, from classic and simple to bespoke high-end kitchens.
Designing kitchens and cabinetry using Cabinet Vision and Vortek.
Supporting or managing the full sales process from initial enquiry through to project completion.
Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, keeping them informed of progress, changes and timeframes.
Following up quotes and progressing jobs through to successful sales.
Developing and applying your understanding of cabinetry construction and how designs translate through to manufacturing and installation.
Ensuring accurate handover to manufacturing with complete documentation and checklists.
Contributing to team sales and margin targets, maintaining accurate sales records and forecasts, and identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services.
Assisting with showroom presentation, client enquiries and general administrative tasks.
Keeping up to date with kitchen trends, materials and design innovation.
Sharing ideas and working with the team to continually improve our design processes, customer experience and ways of working.
You will learn and follow the full Kitchen Inspirations process, from initial consultation through to installation and aftercare.
The ideal candidate:
Passion for kitchen design and customer service

Confident communicator who builds positive client relationships
A customer-focused approach, with an interest in developing your sales skills and contributing to team targets.
Organised and able to manage multiple jobs at different stages
Proactive and eager to learn
Good computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems, (Cabinet Vision and Vortek and advantage).
Full NZ Driver Licence
