About the role
This is a hands-on, high-impact Category Analyst role sitting at the heart of Sales & Category Development.
You will act as the analytical engine behind range reviews, customer planning and promotional evaluation across pharmacy and broader retail channels. Working across Sales, Marketing and Brand partners, you’ll turn complex data into clear, persuasive category stories that drive commercial outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
Analyse category, segment and SKU performance to identify growth risks and opportunities
Translate IQVIA / Circana / Quantium data into actionable recommendations
Lead analytical support for pharmacy range reviews and distribution strategy
Build compelling, customer-ready category presentations
Conduct pre and post promotional and pricing analysis, evaluating ROI and trade spend effectiveness
Support planogram and ranging decisions with data-backed insights
Deliver timely, commercially relevant reporting to Sales
What you’ll bring
5 years’ plus experience in a Category Analyst, Category Executive or Insights role within FMCG, Pharmacy or Consumer Healthcare
Strong experience using Scan / Market data (IQVIA MiPortal, Circana, Quantium or similar)
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability with the ability to tell a persuasive data story
Strong analytical thinking with commercial curiosity
Confidence engaging with Sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders
A pragmatic, hands-on mindset
Desirable experience
Pharmacy, OTC or Health & Beauty category exposure
Experience supporting range reviews or planograms
Exposure to multi-brand portfolios or distributor environments
Power BI or similar visualisation tools
Tools & systems you’ll use
IQVIA MiPortal, Circana, Quantium or equivalent
