Wall and Ceiling Tiler - Wellington

Their team is growing, and they are currently looking for Wall and Ceiling Tilers to join their team. This role will see you working in various locations around Wellington. You will need to have a great work ethic and enough experience to hit the ground running.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately measuring walls and wall coverings
• Assisting in installation of tiles, wall coverings, insulation, acoustic products and installation of ceiling tiles ensuring they are aligned and spaced correctly
• Checking quantities of material required on site
• Laying out and cutting material to fit walls and fix them using best method
• Organising cutting lists in order to prepare panels to be covered with fabric
• Performing quality checks
• Being aware of and comply with Health and Safety procedures
• Loading and unloading construction materials and equipment and transporting them around the building sites
• Keeping work sites tidy
To be considered, you must have:
• Restricted or Full NZ Drivers Licence
• Site Safe Passport (desirable)
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Proven experience installing acoustic products like acoustic ceiling tiles or wall panels
• Technical Skills in Equipment Operation relevant to acoustic product installation
• Strong problem-solving abilities demonstrated in past projects
• Experience in reading plans
In addition to this, it's important that you are a team player who is customer focused and enjoys working in a team environment. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable working at heights up to 6 metres, and be organised and punctual.
What's on Offer?
You will receive a salary of $69,804.80 – $74,880.00 per annum dependent on your skills and experience and will be provided with a minimum of 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Optional overtime is available over 40 hours and will be paid at an hourly rate of $33.56 - $36.00 per hour dependent on your skills and experience. There are 3 positions available.
