About the role:
We're looking for a confident, compassionate Occupational Therapist who enjoys variety and wants to make a real difference. You'll have the opportunity to work across several different contracts, supporting clients to regain confidence and independence through practical, tailored interventions.

Day to day you will:
Conduct functional assessments for ACC, private insurers, or self-referrals, creating personalised rehabilitation plans
Deliver rehabilitation programmes across concussion, social rehabilitation, housing modifications, and vocational services
Complete home and workplace assessments, recommending adaptive equipment and modifications to enhance safety and function
Take the lead role for assigned ACC contracts, coordinating care and maintaining strong communication with physiotherapists, case managers, and clients
Prepare clear, timely clinical documentation and reports that meet professional and ACC standards
Collaborate with physiotherapists, rehab assistants, admin staff and other health disciplines to achieve the best outcomes
Stay current with clinical best practice, ACC guidelines, and professional development requirements
Contribute to team culture, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and getting involved in meetings
The ideal Occupational Therapist:
Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist – open to level of experience
Experience working across housing, social needs, and concussion rehabilitation – a must
Experience with ACC contracts and service delivery standards
Confidence in home based rehab
Experience (or interest in learning) in Vocational Rehabilitation, wheelchair assessments, and Training for Independence programmes (advantageous)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passionate, proactive, and eager to learn
Calm, balanced, and genuine in your approach
