About the role
Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom are seeking a highly motivated Branch Manager with strong leadership and sales capability. In this role you will lead an experienced team of six, oversee the day to day operations of the branch, and play a key part in driving sustainable business growth. A core focus will be maintaining excellent customer service while identifying and implementing new opportunities to strengthen performance.
You will be responsible for coaching and supporting your team to consistently deliver high standards, creating a positive and collaborative work environment, managing stock, health and safety, and achieving financial targets. You will also develop and implement business strategies that align with Chesters long term goals and support ongoing growth.
Our ideal Branch Manager
We are looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to make sound, informed decisions. You will communicate confidently, solve problems efficiently to support timely service delivery, and be proficient across the Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience in a plumbing merchant environment is important for this role, ideally with at least five years in the industry and the ability to bring established relationships.
