Press Brake Operator - East Tamaki

As the Press Brake Operator, you will:

  • Preparing, setting up and adjusting press brake machines depending on the job

  • Operating the press brake to manufacture sheet metal components

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

  • Ensuring raw materials are available and correctly identified

  • Identifying assembly parts

  • Completing routine machine maintenance as required

  • Following work instructions and completing required paperwork

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area

  • Contributing to optimising machine efficiency and production output

This is a day shift position, working 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday.

Our ideal Press Brake Operator:

We are looking for a Press Brake Operator who knows their way around press brake machinery, brings a positive attitude, and is ready to get stuck in. You will have:

  • Previous press brake experience, with Amada CNC experience advantageous

  • Proven experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment

  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately

  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality

  • A reliable, can do attitude

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
