Delivery Driver / Warehouse Store Person - Silverdale

About the role

Based at our Silverdale branch, in this role you will support the smooth operation of our warehouse, inwards, and despatch functions. You will be responsible for a variety of delivery-related tasks, including picking customer orders, loading the delivery truck, delivering goods to our customer base, and issuing relevant documentation.

Chesters Silverdale is a busy close-knit team, giving you the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of a plumbing merchant. This is a hands-on role, so we are looking for someone who is highly motivated and physically fit. There are excellent opportunities for career advancement when you join Chesters!

Chesters is looking for someone with the following:

• A full NZ Drivers' Licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle

• Forklift License (advantageous)

• Previous experience in the same or similar position (advantageous)

• A can-do attitude

• A friendly people person who enjoys going the extra mile

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• A team player with a great sense of humour
