The Role:
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-focused Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll play an important role in ensuring our financial processes run smoothly, while supporting both internal teams and valued customers.
The role would suit someone returning to the workforce who is looking for a stable, supportive position that values experience, consistency, and dependability.
Please note this is a fully office-based role, where being onsite with the team each day is an important part of how we work and stay connected.
You will be responsible for:
This is a varied Accounts Administration role where you will support the smooth running of payroll, accounts, and credit control processes.
Payroll & Administration
Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
Support onboarding and offboarding administration
Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation
Accounts Receivable & Credit Control
Follow up on overdue invoices in a timely and professional manner
Manage customer payment queries and liaise with clients as required
Maintain accurate credit control notes and records
Run credit control reporting and processes
Provide trade references when required
Accounts Processing & Payments
Process supplier invoices and maintain accurate tracking records
Support weekly and ad hoc payment runs
Ensure all financial documentation is correctly filed and maintained
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Ideally, you will bring:
Experience in accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, or finance (from strong administrator level through to senior capability)
A consistent, reliable work history and a strong sense of accountability
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidence working with numbers
Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Experience with systems such as Simpro, Lentune, or similar platforms
Exposure to payroll and/or accounts receivable functions
A calm, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to contribute ideas and improvements
