About the role
We are looking for a commercially minded and relationship-driven Sales Manager to lead the next phase of Juno Gin's growth. Based in New Plymouth, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving results, and working with energy and purpose.
You'll take ownership of sales activity across multiple channels - strengthening relationships with distributors and stockists, expanding our customer base, and championing the Juno story to ensure our brand stands out on the shelf and in market. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour‑per‑week role and includes some events, and trade activity.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Take the lead on day-to-day sales activity, building strong relationships with key customers, wholesale clients, and distribution partners to support ongoing growth.
Liaise with domestic distribution partners and wholesale clients
Prepare and analyse sales reports, using insights to fine-tune strategy and drive smart decision-making across sales channels.
Support events, and trade shows to showcase Juno and connect with new audiences
Negotiate and manage trading terms, pricing, and promotional plans with partners
Collaborate with the team to ensure sales goals align with brand and marketing activity
Championing our story and values, quality, sustainability, and Aotearoa flavour-in everything you do

Our ideal Sales Manager:
5+ years' proven success in FMCG or beverages sales management
Strong industry connections and a track record of growing market share
Commercially astute with a deep understanding of sales cycles, distribution, and category dynamics
Confident, persuasive communicator and natural relationship‑builder
Results‑driven, self‑motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, hands‑on team
Highly organised, with excellent planning, reporting, and negotiation skills
Passionate about premium local products and excited to champion Juno in Aotearoa and beyond
