Sales Support – Auckland

We're looking for a capable, detail-focused Sales Support professional to underpin CNS's commercial performance by enabling the sales team with high-quality documentation, accurate quoting, and clean financial and CRM data.

This is a part-time role with real impact, sitting at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Operations, and Procurement.

About the role

This role underpins CNS's commercial performance by enabling the sales team with accurate, timely, and well-structured quotes, Statements of Work, and supporting documentation.

You'll work closely with Sales and Account Managers to ensure client requirements are clearly captured, pricing and scope are accurate, and handovers to Accounts and Operations are clean. You'll also own key sales process data, dashboards, SOPs, and contribute to continuous improvement across systems and workflows.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare accurate quotes and Statements of Work, ensuring pricing, discounts, scope, and lead times are correct

  • Work closely with Sales, Account Managers, and Operations to capture client requirements and service estimates

  • Convert quotes to orders and ensure clean handovers to Accounts for invoicing and processing

  • Maintain accurate CRM opportunity data, quote templates, pricing logic, and compliance documentation

  • Support purchasing and invoicing accuracy by maintaining clear records for Accounts Payable

  • Own weekly dashboards, including quote turnaround and pipeline hygiene, and drive data quality improvements

  • Standardise and improve sales process SOPs, systems, and workflows, and provide cover for Procurement when required

 

What you'll bring

  • 2–3 years' experience in IT sales support, sales operations, procurement, or a similar commercial support role

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or equivalent practical experience

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing and confidence with other vendor licensing models

  • Experience preparing quotes, Statements of Work, and supporting sales documentation

  • Solid Excel and Word skills, with comfort using Power BI and AI-enabled tools such as Copilot an advantage

  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing accuracy and margin awareness

  • Clear written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset

  • Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy, ownership, and follow-through

  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand

 

Ways of working

  • Part-time role, 20 hours per week, based in Auckland

  • Hybrid working, typically 2–3 days in the office, with some flexibility

  • Minimal travel, with occasional client meetings

 

Tools & systems you'll use

Accelo, Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Excel, Power BI, Copilot, and distributor portals.
