We are a fast-growing, specialist commercial and industrial door company that import, manufacture, install, and service high-performance door systems across New Zealand.

We are a small, high-performing team that prides itself on quality, speed, and getting the details right. With a strong pipeline of work, we're looking for someone who can come in, build on it, and add real value.

About the Role

This is a hands-on technical sales role where you will both win work and see it through. You'll be just as comfortable on-site building relationships and spotting opportunities as you are behind the scenes working through plans and pricing.

This is not a pure sales role and not just account management. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business, while also managing projects and client relationships through to completion.

From first conversation and site measure, through to pricing, coordination, and delivery, you will own the full process.

You will be working closely with builders, engineers, and clients, so strong communication, commercial awareness, and attention to detail are critical. Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships across builders, engineers, and project stakeholders

  • Completing site measures and interpreting plans and specifications

  • Pricing work accurately and commercially

  • Managing multiple projects at once, ensuring a smooth process from quote through to completion

  • Acting as the key point of contact throughout both the sales and delivery phases

  • Working in a structured and disciplined way, staying on top of tasks, timelines, and client commitments

This role is Auckland-based with regular travel across Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Hawke's Bay, and Northland, including some overnight stays.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong technical aptitude (construction, engineering, mechanical or similar)

  • Proven ability to generate new business and build a pipeline

  • Experience in a technical sales, account management, or project-based role

  • Confident reading and interpreting plans and specifications

  • Commercially minded with the ability to price and win work

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients

  • Self-managing, disciplined, accountable, and able to prioritise effectively

  • Full NZ driver's licence

  • NZ residency or valid NZ working rights
