About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Construction Administrator to support the successful delivery of our construction projects for our family owned and operated, fast paced plumbing and drainage company. This is a pivotal role that keeps projects moving by ensuring documentation is accurate, communication is clear, and everyone involved is aligned from start to finish.

 

You will work closely with Project Managers, contractors, suppliers, architects, the QS team and clients. Your role will sit at the centre of the action, helping maintain efficiency, compliance and strong coordination across multiple sites and stakeholders.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Supporting Project Managers with scheduling, coordination and follow up of key tasks

  • Keeping communication flowing between site teams, contractors and external stakeholders

  • Managing project documentation, including QA reports, health and safety records and site drawings

  • Maintaining accurate records and compiling regular project updates

  • Assisting with purchase orders, invoices, variations and budget tracking

  • Ensuring permits, certifications, insurance and safety documentation remain up to date

  • Supporting general office and site administration as required

 

About You

You will bring strong administrative or project coordination experience, ideally within the construction industry. Someone that is highly organised, detail focused, and confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in an administrative or coordination role, with construction experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail

  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 and project management systems such as simPRO, Fieldwire or Microsoft Teams

  • An understanding of construction terminology, workflows and documentation standards

  • Exposure to procurement, contract administration or financial tracking
