About the role: 

We are looking for a confident, compassionate Physiotherapist who enjoys variety and wants to make a real difference.

Working across a range of contracts, you will manage a varied caseload and provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation support to help clients achieve meaningful outcomes. The level of independence will reflect your experience, with support and on the job coaching available for new graduates as you build your confidence and capability.

You will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, an Occupational Health Nurse, rehabilitation and administration professionals.

Day to day you will:

  • Assess, treat and support clients across a varied rehabilitation caseload

  • Work across multiple ACC contracts and service streams

  • Develop practical, evidence based treatment and rehabilitation plans

  • Complete high quality clinical documentation and reporting

  • Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to support positive client outcomes

  • Continue developing your clinical knowledge and capability through ongoing learning and support

The ideal Physiotherapist:

  • NZ Physiotherapy registration and a current practising certificate

  • Experience or knowledge of ACC contracts and service delivery requirements, or a genuine interest in developing your skills across Vocational Rehabilitation, Concussion and Social Rehabilitation alongside acute physiotherapy

  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment and rehabilitation skills

  • Sound clinical documentation and reporting skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A proactive approach and willingness to keep learning

  • A calm, balanced and genuine approach

You don’t need to tick every box. We are open to different levels of experience and are happy to consider the right new graduate, with coaching and support available to help you build your confidence and capability.

You must be currently residing in New Zealand and eligible to practise as a Physiotherapist in New Zealand.
