About the role:

Are you an experienced cabinetry professional with a strong eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality kitchens and cabinetry?

Fluid Interiors is looking for an experienced Detailer to join their close-knit team. This is a hands-on, varied role where you will take projects from client requirements and measurements through to detailed drawings, specifications and manufacture-ready documentation. As a Detailer, you will play a key role in turning concepts and client requirements into accurate, manufacture-ready cabinetry.

You will work closely with clients, sales consultants, managers and the wider production team to ensure projects are accurately measured, detailed and coordinated through to manufacture

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately measuring and detailing kitchens and cabinetry for manufacture

  • Preparing detailed drawings, specifications and documentation using CAD manufacturing software

  • Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and ensure designs are functional, practical and fit for purpose

  • Preparing designs, specifications and quotations to a high professional standard

  • Coordinating with sales consultants and the wider team to support smooth project delivery

  • Procuring products and materials in line with project requirements and budgets

  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, managers and colleagues throughout projects

  • Managing multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines

  • Contributing to effective company systems, processes and quality standards

  • Supervising and supporting other team members where required

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who brings strong technical knowledge alongside excellent organisation and communication skills.

 You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Detailer or Kitchen/Cabinetry Designer

  • Experience within the kitchen, cabinetry, joinery or interior fit-out industry

  • Experience using CAD manufacturing software

  • The ability to interpret plans and translate designs into accurate manufacturing details

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • Previous customer service and client-facing experience

  • Experience with purchasing, procurement and suppliers

  • Strong computer skills and confidence using relevant design applications

  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills

  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive, reliable and self-motivated approach

  • The ability to work independently while being a great team player
