Procurement & Asset Management - Auckland

About the role
This role underpins CNS's commercial performance by executing end-to-end procurement activities, maintaining accurate systems and data, and managing supplier relationships.
You'll be responsible for purchasing across hardware, software, and licensing, tracking renewals and warranties, supporting Sales and clients with accurate information, and owning asset tracking within the Ninja platform. You'll also contribute to reporting, dashboards, SOPs, and continuous improvement across procurement and asset processes.
What you'll be doing
Manage end-to-end procurement of hardware, software, licences, and services from requirement through to fulfilment
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and partners, including portals and rebate programmes
Track and manage licence renewals, warranties, and asset lifecycles, ensuring accuracy within CRM and Ninja systems
Maintain accurate pricing, product data, specifications, and compliance documentation to support Sales and Finance
Provide timely updates to internal teams and clients on availability, ETAs, order status, and post-sale follow-ups
Produce procurement and asset reports, own weekly dashboards, and drive data quality and cycle time improvements
Standardise and improve procurement SOPs, tools, and workflows, and provide cover for Sales Support when required
What you'll bring
2–3 years' experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or sales operations/support
Degree or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or equivalent practical experience
Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing and confidence with other vendor licensing models
Experience with quoting processes, distributor portals, and pricing structures
Solid Excel and Word skills, with comfort using Power BI and AI-enabled tools such as Copilot an advantage
Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, margin, and freight considerations
Clear written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset
Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy, ownership, and follow-through
Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Ways of working
Part-time role, 20 hours per week, based in Auckland
Hybrid working, typically 2–3 days in the office, with some flexibility
Minimal travel, with occasional supplier or client meetings
Tools & systems you'll use Accelo, Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Excel, Power BI, Copilot, and distributor procurement portals.
