The Position:

As Regional Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable growth across the power distribution market.

Your primary focus will be building deep, longstanding partnerships with Platinum and Gold customers, grounded in trust, transparency, and a clear understanding of the value Nexans brings through product capability, service, local manufacturing, and market leadership.

Working collaboratively within the Power Distribution Sales team, you will contribute to the execution of national sales strategies, while also identifying new business opportunities and supporting the delivery of the Shift Performance, Innovation and Amplify principles aligned to the E3 operating model.

This role is instrumental in retaining and growing market share, requiring regular, deep engagement across customer organisations to ensure Nexans' value proposition is clearly understood and recognised.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, strengthen, and protect strategic relationships with Platinum and Gold customers across the power distribution market

  • Implement customer focused strategies to achieve annual and medium-term growth targets and protect market share

  • Engage effectively at all levels of customer organisations to understand commercial and technical drivers within the evolving power distribution landscape

  • Identify and convert new sales opportunities by delivering tailored, value-based product and pricing solutions

  • Maintain a structured and disciplined call cycle to ensure regular, meaningful customer engagement

  • Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth and margin opportunities

  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategies in collaboration with commercial and management teams

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams across supply chain, technical, marketing, and commercial functions to deliver customer solutions

  • Provide input into sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM to support planning, visibility, and decision making

  • Represent Nexans with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to health and safety during all customer interactions

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week with regular travel required.

Our Ideal Regional Key Account Manager Power Distribution:

You will likely come from a Key Account Manager or senior BDM background within a technical, infrastructure, or electricity related environment. You will bring:

  • Strong sales and commercial acumen

  • Technical understanding of electrical principles, with knowledge of LV and MV networks

  • Experience managing strategic or key accounts in a B2B environment

  • Ability to build trust-based, long-term customer partnerships

  • Confidence engaging across commercial and technical stakeholders

  • Strong CRM, reporting, forecasting, and analytical capability

  • A self-driven, accountable approach with a collaborative mindset

  • Willingness to travel on a semi-regular basis
